What is it?
Veloxa® and Veloxa® XL are beef-flavoured chewable tablets for the treatment of intestinal worms in dogs,
including tapeworm, roundworm, hookworm and whipworm.
These worming tablets are available in 2 sizes – Veloxa® and Veloxa® XL to accommodate all sizes of dogs
from 2.5 kg to 70kg:
• Veloxa® is recommended for dogs weighing up to 20 kg
• Veloxa® XL is recommended for dogs weighing 17.5 kg or more
Veloxa® and Veloxa® XL are available in packs of 2 or 4 tablets.
How is it administered?
Veloxa® and Veloxa® XL can be divided into equal halves for accurate dosing.
The following table is a guide for dosing, however you should always consult your vet for their recommendation:
VELOXA®
For small and
medium dogs
2.5 kg to 5 kg = 0.5
>5 kg to 10 kg = 1
>10 kg to 15 kg = 1.5
>15 kg to 20 kg = 2
VELOXA® XL
For large dogs
17.5 kg = 0.5
>17.5 kg to 35 kg = 1
>35 kg to 52.5 kg= 1.5
>52.5 kg to 70 kg = 2
